Mod In Palm Beach

Palm Beach has attitude.

Slim Aarons, the famous lifestyles of the rich and famous photographer, famously explained his career as photographing “attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places”, and Palm Beach was one of his favorite haunts. Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, New York A-Listers, certainly qualify to be in a Slim Aarons photograph. Jon, who is Chairman of Loew’s Hotels and Lizzie, fashion maven extraordinaire (think Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed Hall of Fame), have created a stunning Palm Beach pied-a-terre that exudes Palm Beach chic mixed with Miami sizzle with a touch of Hollywood thrown in.

Spring 2015 Trends: Love It In Leather

I make no secret that I love leather. Leather, hair-on-hide, suede, fur—I mean is there anything more luxurious? Thankfully, leather is a Spring must-have. But this season, leathers are shown in paler, softer shades that echo Spring’s quiet arrival. In shades of nude, cream, soft grays and pale taupes. Leather can say Springtime as well as floral.

On Madison has put together a collage of our favorite leather looks both in fashion and home décor that will usher in modern Spring chic.

Spring 2015 Trends: Modern Floral

Spring 2015’s Modern Floral trend: If you follow this blog, you’ll know that I don’t generally show many florals. Florals, especially small scale florals or certain colors of florals, feel excessively feminine and, for me at least, don’t generally make my list of timeless design.

But this Spring, florals are here with a vengeance. I’m talking big, bold, edgy modern florals that are not one bit girly or fussy. On Madison has assembled our favorite uses of flower power that announce Spring is here in the chicest possible way!
